From Hassims Packaging (Haspak), founded in 1965, to the launch of the HASMART brand in 2020, our business represents six decades of continuity in packaging, distribution, and trade.
HASMART represents the modern evolution of decades of experience in packaging and distribution. The transition to the HASMART brand marked a strategic shift towards a more accessible, retail-driven model while maintaining the depth and expertise of a long-standing trade business.
This legacy positions HASMART not as a new entrant, but as a modern evolution of a long-standing, trusted business, combining experience with a forward-thinking retail and distribution model.
The brand was created to bridge a critical gap in the market among Price, Product Variety, and Reliable Supply in the packaging, food service, baking, party, and gifting space. While the industry often forced businesses to choose between affordability, consistency, or range, we saw an opportunity to deliver all three under one roof.

Since launch, HASMART has rapidly scaled into a multi-branch retail and distribution network that supports our ability to hold stock, manage volume, and ensure consistent availability across key product categories.

Our warehousing facilities are designed to optimise stock holding, handling, and dispatch. With high-volume storage capacity, organised inventory management systems, fast picking and packing processes, and clean, secure, and compliant environments, we can maintain consistent stock availability while reducing lead times.
We also understand the importance of reliable access to bulk packaging supplies. Our bulk storage solutions support high-demand items, ensuring consistent availability across key product lines, reducing the risk of stockouts, and enabling us to meet promotional and seasonal demand with ease. Our scale allows us to hold stock so you don’t have to.
RETAIL STORES, BULK & TRADERS PROGRAMME

This infrastructure allows us to operate not just as a retailer, but as a reliable supply partner to a wide range of industries.
In addition, as a trade specialist, we also offer Trader Card benefits to our Traders, Wholesalers and bulk buyers. Trade customers can receive dedicated discounts on bulk and break-bulk purchases from any of our stores.
SOURCING & GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS
HASMART actively sources products both locally and internationally, with established procurement channels including global trade hubs. We are actively open to distribution and supply partnerships, providing international suppliers with a reliable route into the South African market.

Our bulk pricing is ideal for businesses such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and small enterprises through our in-store activated Traders program. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Most orders are delivered within 2–5 working days. View our shipping policy for more details.
Yes, we deliver nationwide across South Africa. Courier rates are calculated at checkout and are based flat area delivery rates. There is a limitation of delivery on ordered valued at R5000.00 or over. These orders will automatically divert your check out to collect at the Springfield Store.
